New NSF-funded summer research opportunities for undergraduates at Montana State University to explore microbes in low-oxygen environments
1/15/2021
Low oxygen microbes are incredibly important for environmental and human health. They influence (or control) such processes as food breakdown in the gut, toxin removal from the environment, and greenhouse gas production. They are also models for understanding the origins of life on this planet, and the potential for life on other planets. Current undergraduate students are invited to apply to participate in our new 10-week research experience.
